It's abandonment, bodies floating in space, time seemingly suspended.
Confronted with paper and its fragility, the dancers continue their journey, building poetic paths for themselves. The body becomes paper and the paper becomes the body, images appear carried away by the movement, opening up a world of sound and vision in constant transformation. A space of tension, rustling, resistance, dynamics and vibrations. An awakening of our senses, on the lookout for movement.
This approach to dance invites the audience to let themselves be carried away and discover a universe. Images, paper sculptures, live drums and bass clarinet support and accompany a playful, poetic choreographic quest. A thread is woven between the feel of the paper, the movement and the dance.
Unison and cut-outs, complicity and choice, accidents and organisation complement each other in a journey that introduces us to the contemporary aspect of dance. Paper rustles, vegetal garb, increasing power and a slight tribal accent, the tension builds... Elegance is the order of the day... A beautiful awakening to our senses.
